Target: WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This demonstration is built toward that standard, and toward Ontario's accessibility expectations (AODA) for a real deployment.
What's implemented
- A "skip to content" link and a single, clear main landmark on every page
- Keyboard-operable navigation, including the mobile menu (with Escape to close)
- Visible focus outlines on links, buttons and form fields
- Semantic form fields with associated labels and helper text
- An accessible error summary that moves focus and links to each field
- Status messages announced politely — for example, the resource filter's result count
- Reduced-motion support that removes non-essential animation
- Colour choices checked for readable contrast on the ivory and ink surfaces
Known limitations
This is a demonstration. Imagery is shown as labelled placeholders, some links point to sample routes, and the site has not yet had a full assistive-technology audit. A formal accessibility review would be completed before any real-firm launch.

In a live deployment, a named contact and a response commitment would appear here, so anyone encountering a barrier could report it and get help promptly.
